For Cities & Counties

Capital project visibility and GIS-ready deliverables, from a local operator.

Veteran-Owned Drone Mapping for Cities, Counties & Municipal Projects

Anchorpoint Geospatial supports cities, counties, and special-purpose districts with aerial mapping for capital projects, post-event damage assessment, and targeted GIS basemap updates. Veteran-owned, headquartered in Pierce County, Washington, and on the SDVOSB procurement path.

What We Do for Government

Supplemental aerial capacity where it’s needed most.

Many large jurisdictions, Pierce County included, run in-house drone programs for recurring inspection work. Anchorpoint doesn’t compete with those programs. The company supplements them during surge workload, supports capital projects that fall outside the program’s standard scope, and serves smaller cities and special-purpose districts that don’t have an internal UAS capability.

Deliverables are built to drop into the GIS environment your team already uses. GeoTIFF orthomosaic, LAS/LAZ point cloud, digital surface and terrain models, TINs, contours, and a 3D model viewable in a browser. All referenced to the project's coordinate system. WGS84, State Plane (any zone), UTM, NAD83/NAVD88, or a local grid.

For procurement, Anchorpoint is NAICS 541370 primary (Surveying and Mapping Services), with SAM.gov registered and SDVOSB certification pending through SBA VetCert. Once certifications are complete, set-aside eligibility opens for federal and state procurement paths that flow through local jurisdictions.

LIVE DATASET — SUMNER, WASHINGTON

Municipal capital project — preconstruction baseline documentation.

Public library site captured prior to ground disturbance. High-resolution orthomosaic, NAD83 / NAVD88 referenced. The kind of dated, georeferenced baseline record that supports council reporting, capital project oversight, and post-construction comparison — delivered as a browser-viewable dataset and GeoTIFF, with no software required on the receiving end.

Capabilities

Built for municipal workflow and public accountability.

01 / CAPITAL PROJECTS

Capital Project Documentation

Monthly progress orthomosaic and 3D site model for libraries, parks, facilities, road projects, and other capital work. Outputs drop into council packets, public meeting slides, and staff reports. Shareable browser viewer for public-facing project pages.

02 / GIS BASEMAPS

Targeted GIS Basemap Updates

Project-area photogrammetry delivered as GeoTIFF, LAS/LAZ, and DSM in coordinate systems GIS staff already use. Scope to a specific project area rather than a full-jurisdiction commitment. Current-season data in days, not a fiscal-year RFP.

03 / EVENT RESPONSE

Post-Event Damage Assessment

Rapid-deployment flights after storms, floods, landslides, or incidents. Dated imagery supports FEMA reimbursement, emergency repair prioritization, and public safety communication. Delivered within 24 to 48 hours of flight authorization.

04 / PROCUREMENT PATH

SDVOSB Procurement Path

NAICS 541370 primary. SAM.gov registered. SDVOSB certification pending through SBA VetCert. Capability statement and past-performance documentation available on request. Veteran-owned small business for set-aside consideration.
